Deck Staining 101
This past Saturday was "Deck Staining Day" at the Purlypants house.
Step 1: Clear the deck!

Step 2: Blow off the leaves!

Step 3: Convince DH this is a "one-man" job and do some baking (zucchini bread) instead!

Step 4: Enjoy the fruits of our labor! (We still need to do the side rails).

Someone was pouting because her "help" wasn't wanted!

The deck looks great!
Can I come over so we can sit outside and knit?
Awwww...but how can you say no to such a sweet face???
It looks good! And yummy! :-)
Every time you show a picture of your deck, it looks so nice -- big, with shade and trees. And now it even has its 'winter coat' (of stain, that is!).
Niiiiice deck.
Deeeeelcious bread.
Cuuuuuute pup!
I didn't make it to yarnivore but thanks for your help. Maybe next time.
It looks awesome! And kudos to you on getting your DH to go solo!
